Activities & Curriculum

Some of the most important years of a child’s brain development are from birth to five years old.

Pleasant Pines Daycare provide education-based activities that intellectually engage children during the day and promote imagination in a safe and encouraging environment.

During the day, your child will build social and emotional skills through learning activities including:

  • Games & Learning Activities: Involving calendar, weather, colors, shapes, letters, blocks and puzzles to fine motor skills.

  • Art: Painting, watercolors, glue/paste, finger-painting and more!

  • Music/Movement: Instruments, group music activities

  • Story time: Develops pre-reading skills

Sensory and tactile exploration and outdoor play is also included when weather permits.

Here we keep a low student-teacher ratio to give more individualized instruction and care.
